Dolmabahçe Palace Tickets

Dolmabahce palace tickets are sold by Millî Saraylar in lira, on a tariff that also carries three combined passes covering the smaller palaces and pavilions — and one rule most visitors miss: those combined tickets stay valid for a month, while Topkapı's expire the same day. The palace itself is on Dolmabahçe Palace and the city-wide comparison on the Istanbul city guide homepage.

Quick answer One combined ticket, three palace passes

The combined Selamlık, Harem and Painting Museum ticket is ₺2,000 for foreign visitors (about $41). Millî Saraylar also sells three combined passes from ₺2,750 to ₺3,500 covering its other palaces and pavilions for a month — none of them includes Topkapı.

Is the ₺3,500 Full Pass worth it?

Only if you are palace-minded and staying a while. It covers Dolmabahçe plus Beylerbeyi, Yıldız, Küçüksu, Ihlamur and the rest of the Millî Saraylar estate for a month, one visit each — and those smaller palaces are genuinely good, half-empty and spread along both shores of the Bosphorus.

Against it: Dolmabahçe alone is ₺2,000, so the pass adds ₺1,500 for everything else. Two of the smaller palaces make it pay. But it does not include Topkapı, which is the palace most visitors actually came for, and that omission catches people who assume 'Full Pass' means all of them.

Dolmabahçe ticket questions

How much are Dolmabahçe Palace tickets?

₺2,000 for foreign visitors for the combined Selamlık, Harem and Painting Museum ticket, about $41. Türkiye citizens pay ₺250 and children up to six are free.

Does the Millî Saraylar Full Pass include Topkapı?

No. The ₺3,500 Full Pass covers Dolmabahçe and the palaces and pavilions on both shores but explicitly excludes Topkapı — which needs its own ₺2,750 ticket.

How long is a Dolmabahçe ticket valid?

Single tickets are for the day. The combined Millî Saraylar passes run a month from purchase, one visit per site — unlike Topkapı's, which expire the same day.

Is the Museum Pass İstanbul accepted?

No. Dolmabahçe belongs to Millî Saraylar, not the Ministry of Culture. Müzekart is accepted across most Millî Saraylar sites but not for the Dolmabahçe Selamlık.
